Password is a basic security measure to protect your account at SFOR.TRADE and gives you access to all its features. To keep your assets and personal data safe, it is important to keep your password secure and not to share it with anyone.
But, if you lost your password or just want to update it for security considerations, then if you have access to the e-mail from which you registered your account at our exchange, you will be able to set a new password to your account at SFOR.TRADE, following some simple steps.
Note: For security purposes, we recommend that you change your password regularly (every 3 to 6 months), use a unique password, different from your regular passwords on other sites or services.
How to reset the password from the account?
In order to reset your old account password, you need to:
1) Visit the main page of SFOR.TRADE exchange and click on the button "Log In" located in the upper right corner of the page.
2) On the login page, under the form for entering data to log in to your SFOR.TRADE account, you will see the button "Forgot your password?" - you need to click on it.
3) On the page for resetting of password you should enter in the field your e-mail box, which you used to register on SFOR.TRADE exchange.
Note: If you lost access to your mailbox as well, you will not be able to restore access to your account at SFOR.TRADE exchange. In this case you need to contact our support team.
Next, just click on the button "Reset", after which the top right will display a message "Password reset link has been sent to your email". If the mailbox you entered is valid, then you will receive an email with further instructions within minutes.
If you change your mind about changing your password, just click on the "Back to Login" link. The password will not be changed, and you will return to the exchange login page.
4) You need to go to your mailbox, find the "Password Reset" email we sent you from the email address noreply@sfor.trade, open the email and click on the "Reset" button.
If you did not receive a password reset confirmation letter, follow the instructions below:
- make sure, that there are no problems with your mail server;
- check your spam folder - the emails might go there instead of in your main incoming mail folder;
- add "noreply@sfor.trade" to the list of safe email addresses;
- check, are you configured any filters in your electronic mail, which mark emails from SFOR.TRADE as read or send them to trash or to a separate folder;
- clear cookies and cache in your browser and repeat the password change attempt.
5) After clicking in the email on the "Reset" button, you will be taken to a page where you can enter your new password.
For your new password, we recommend using a complex password, at least 12 characters long, with numbers, special characters, upper and lower case letters.
You need to enter a new password in the first cell, a little lower, in the second cell, you must enter your new password again, to confirm the correctness of the entry, and click "Change".
Note: When creating a new password, make sure that your browser does not have the autofill feature enabled. The autofill feature can enter an incorrect password after you have changed it.
6) After pressing the "Change" button you will be redirected to the login page of SFOR.TRADE exchange, also in the right top corner of the page you will see the message "Password successfully changed".
You can now log in to your account using the new password.
How to change the account password?
If you want to change your password to a more secure one (or just update it) to protect your account at SFOR.TRADE, you can easily do it in your account settings.
To do this you will need:
1) Login to your account at SFOR.TRADE exchange and go to "Profile" page, at the top of the page you will see the item to change the password.
You need to click on the "Change" button.
2) After clicking on the "Change" button, the page for changing the password will open.
You need to enter your existing password in the topmost cell, in the second cell, just below, enter your new password, and still below, in the third cell, enter the new password again to confirm the correctness of entering the new password. To complete the password change, all you have to do is click the "Change" button.
After that you will return to your "Profile" page, and in the upper right corner of the page you will see a message about successful password change. You can now use the new password to log in to your account.
